Day 1: Arrival in Ha Noi

  • Arrive in Ha Noi, meet your Vietnam Legend Travel guide, and transfer to your hotel.

  • Overnight: Ha Noi

 

Day 2: Ha Noi City Tour (B/L)

  • Morning: Start your day with a visit to major historic landmarks in Ha Noi: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (view from outside), Ho Chi Minh House on Stilt, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature—Vietnam's first university.

  • Afternoon:

    • Visit the Museum of Ethnology for an insightful look at Vietnam’s diverse cultures.

    • Take a rickshaw ride through the Old Quarter of Ha Noi (approximately 1 hour).

    • End the day at Hoan Kiem Lake, where you’ll visit Ngoc Son Temple and enjoy a traditional Water Puppet Show, showcasing Vietnamese heritage.

  • Overnight: Ha Noi.

 

Day 3: Ha Noi – Ninh Binh (B/L)

  • Morning:

    • Enjoy breakfast and then drive to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam during the Dinh Dynasty (968–980 AD).

    • Explore ancient sanctuaries and royal tombs that highlight the historical significance of the area.

  • Afternoon:

    • Head to Tam Coc, often referred to as “Ha Long Bay on land.”

    • Climb to the top of Mua Cave (approximately 500 steps, 30–50 minutes) for panoramic views of Tam Coc’s canals and limestone peaks.

    • Embark on a small rowing boat to glide through Tam Coc’s canals, passing green fields, villages, and the famous Three Caves.

    • End the day with a scenic car ride through Tam Coc - Bich Dong, passing rice paddies, rivers, and rocky outcrops.

  • Overnight: Ninh Binh.

 

Day 4: Ninh Binh – Halong Bay (B/L/D)

  • Morning: After breakfast, depart by road for Ha Long Bay, passing through the picturesque countryside of the Red River Delta, with views of rice fields and water buffalo.

  • Afternoon:

    • Board a traditional sailing junk and enjoy a cruise through Ha Long Bay’s emerald waters, dotted with limestone islands.

    • Visit the Surprise Grotto, Bo Nau Cave, and other stunning sites such as Dau Go Cave and Thien Cung Cave, famous for their stalagmites and stalactites.

    • Take a refreshing swim in the bay’s tranquil waters and savor a delicious seafood dinner onboard.

  • Overnight: On-board the junk.

 

Day 5: Ha Long Bay – Ha Noi (B/L)

  • Morning:

    • Early risers can enjoy complimentary tea, coffee, fruit, and cake while taking in the bay’s serene beauty.

    • Paddle through Luon Cave on a small bamboo boat, surrounded by towering limestone cliffs.

    • Sail past iconic rock formations, such as Man's Head Islet, Tortoise Islet, and Bai Tho Mountain, as the junk cruises back to Halong City.

  • Afternoon:

    • Relish a hearty brunch onboard before disembarkation.

    • Return to Ha Noi by road.

  • Overnight: Ha Noi.

 

Day 6: Ha Noi – Departure (B)

After breakfast, enjoy your free time for shopping or relaxing until your transfer to Noi Bai International Airport for your departure flight.
