VLT02 - VIETNAM GRAND HIGHLIGHTS

Day 1: Arrival in Ha Noi

• Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport, meet your guide, and transfer to your hotel in central Ha Noi.

• The rest of the day is free for relaxation or self-exploration.

• Overnight: Ha Noi

 

Day 2: Ha Noi City Tour (B/L)

• Visit iconic landmarks, including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside only), Ho Chi Minh’s House on Stilts, One Pillar Pagoda, and the Temple of Literature.

• Explore the Museum of Ethnology and take a rickshaw ride through Ha Noi's Old Quarter.

• End the day at Hoan Kiem Lake and enjoy a traditional Water Puppet Show.

• Overnight: Ha Noi

 

Day 3: Ha Noi - Sapa (B/L)

• Depart for Sapa via a scenic drive along the new national highway.

• Check into your hotel and explore Sapa town, including the Stone Church and old streets.

• Overnight: Sapa

 

Day 4: Sapa Hiking Tour (B/L)

• Hike through Lao Chai and Ta Van villages, home to the Black Hmong people, and enjoy views of Sapa’s famous rice terraces.

• Continue to Y Linh Ho village before returning to Sapa town.

• Overnight: Sapa

 

Day 5: Sapa – Ha Noi (B/L)

• Visit Fansipan Peak via a scenic sky train and cable car ride.

• Enjoy panoramic views and explore spiritual sites at the summit.

• Return to Ha Noi in the evening.

• Overnight: Ha Noi

 

Day 6: Ha Noi - Ninh Binh (B/L)

• Travel to Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s ancient capital, to visit historic sanctuaries.

• Climb Mua Cave for panoramic views of Tam Coc’s canals and mountains.

• Enjoy a rowing boat ride through Tam Coc’s limestone caves.

• Overnight: Ninh Binh

 

Day 7: Ninh Binh - Ha Long Bay (B/L/D)

• Drive to Ha Long Bay and board a traditional sailing junk.

• Cruise through the bay, explore stunning caves, and swim in the emerald waters.

• Enjoy a sunset over the bay.

• Overnight: On board the junk

 

Day 8: Ha Long - Ha Noi - Hue (B/L)

• Start the day with a bamboo boat ride at Luon Cave and see iconic rock formations.

• After brunch on the junk, transfer to Ha Noi for a flight to Hue.

• Overnight: Hue

 

Day 9: Hue City Tour (B/L)

• Take a boat trip on the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda and Emperor Minh Mang’s Mausoleum.

• Explore Tu Duc and Khai Dinh mausoleums, the Imperial Citadel, and Dong Ba Market.

• Overnight: Hue

 

Day 10: Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An (B/L)

• Visit Ba Na Hills, including the Golden Bridge and French Village, en route to Hoi An.

• Enjoy free time in Hoi An in the evening.

• Overnight: Hoi An

 

Day 11: Hoi An (B/L)

• Discover Hoi An’s landmarks, including the Japanese Bridge and Ngoc Son Temple.

• Participate in a lantern-making workshop.

• Overnight: Hoi An

 

Day 12: Hoi An (B/L)

• Experience a cooking class, bamboo basket boat ride, and fishing for crabs at Coconut Village.

• Enjoy free time in the afternoon.

• Overnight: Hoi An

 

Day 13: Hoi An - Da Nang - Ho Chi Minh City (B)

• Fly to Ho Chi Minh City.

• Spend the day at leisure or enjoy optional evening activities such as the A O Show or a Scooter Food Tour.

• Overnight: Ho Chi Minh City

 

Day 14: Cu Chi Tunnels & Ho Chi Minh City Tour (B/L)

• Visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, followed by a city tour featuring Ben Thanh Market, the War Remnants Museum, and the Reunification Palace.

• Overnight: Ho Chi Minh City

 

Day 15: Mekong Delta (B/L)

• Travel to Cai Be and explore local workshops, An Binh Island, and rural life. Continue to Vinh Long and Can Tho.

• Overnight: Can Tho

 

Day 16: Floating Market - Return to Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)

• Visit Cai Rang Floating Market and enjoy cycling through rural areas.

• Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon.

• Overnight: Ho Chi Minh City

 

Day 17: Ho Chi Minh Departure (B)

• Enjoy leisure time before transferring to the airport for your departure flight.
