Day 1: Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City (–)

Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City, the largest metropolis in Vietnam.

Upon arrival, your private guide and driver will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.

After check-in, the remainder of the day is free to relax or explore at your leisure.

Overnight: Ho Chi Minh City

 

Day 2: City Tour of Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)

Explore historic and cultural landmarks on foot:

• Binh Tay Market

• Tan Dinh Church

• War Remnants Museum

• Old Saigon Post Office

• Dong Khoi Street, Continental Hotel, and Opera House

Flexible pace for personal exploration.

Overnight: Ho Chi Minh City

 

Day 3: Cao Dai Great Temple & Cu Chi Tunnels (B/L)

Morning: Visit the colorful and symbolic Cao Dai Temple – a religious fusion of Buddhism, Christianity, Taoism & Confucianism

Afternoon: Explore the Cu Chi Tunnels, the underground wartime complex used by Viet Cong forces

Overnight: Ho Chi Minh City

 

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City - My Tho - Can Tho (B/L)

Morning:

• Drive to My Tho

• Enjoy a boat cruise along the Tien River

• Visit Four Islands, My Tho Fish Market, and Mr. Muoi Hai’s House for honey tea & fruit tasting

• Try rowing a sampan boat through coconut palm-lined canals

Afternoon: Drive to Can Tho, the hub of the Mekong Delta

Overnight: Can Tho

 

Day 5: Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City – Hue (B/L)

Morning:

• Visit the Cai Rang Floating Market by motorboat

• Discover the Bun Tau Noodle Factory

• Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City

Afternoon:

• Fly from Ho Chi Minh City to Hue

• Transfer to hotel and relax

Overnight: Hue

 

Day 6: Hue City Tour (B/L)

Morning: Visit the Tomb of King Minh Mang, known for its serene setting

Afternoon:

• Take a dragon boat cruise along the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda

• Explore the Imperial Citadel and Forbidden Purple City

• Discover local life at Dong Ba Market

Overnight: Hue

 

Day 7: Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An (B/L)

Morning:

• Drive along the scenic Hai Van Pass

• Visit: Non Nuoc Beach, Cham Museum Marble Mountains

• Lunch in Da Nang

Afternoon:

• Arrive in Hoi An

• Free time to wander lantern-lit streets or relax

Overnight: Hoi An

 

Day 8: Hoi An City Tour (B/L)

Morning: Walking tour of Hoi An Ancient Town:

• Japanese Covered Bridge

• Chinese Temple

• Old Merchant's House

Afternoon:

• Sampan cruise along the Hoai River to Thanh Ha Pottery Village

• Learn about centuries-old ceramics and try pottery hands-on

Overnight: Hoi An

 

Day 9: Hoi An - Da Nang – Hanoi (B)

Morning:

• Free time until transfer to Da Nang Airport

• Fly to Hanoi

Afternoon:

• Explore Hanoi Old Quarter with your guide

• Sample local snacks and coffee shops

Overnight: Hanoi

 

Day 10: Hanoi Sightseeing (B/L)

Morning: Visit:

• Ba Dinh Square

• Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed Mon/Fri)

• One Pillar Pagoda

• Temple of Literature

Afternoon:

• See Hoa Lo Prison (Hanoi Hilton)

• Visit the Museum of Ethnology (closed Mondays)

• End the day with the Water Puppet Show

Overnight: Hanoi

 

Day 11: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L/D)

Morning:

• Drive ~3.5 hours to Halong Bay, UNESCO World Heritage site

• Board a luxury cruise ship and begin exploring karst landscapes

Afternoon & Evening:

• Kayaking, swimming, cave visits (varies by boat)

• Enjoy sunset on deck, a seafood dinner, and evening activities

Overnight: Onboard Halong Bay Cruise

 

Day 12: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/L)

Morning:

• Tai Chi session on deck (optional)

• Visit another cave or island

• Brunch onboard before disembarkation

Afternoon:

• Return to Hanoi by private vehicle

• Free time to shop, rest or explore more

Overnight: Hanoi

 

Day 13: Hanoi, Luang Prabang (B)

Morning:

• Transfer to airport and fly to Luang Prabang, Laos

• Meet your guide and transfer to hotel

Afternoon: Hike Mount Phousi for panoramic sunset views over the city & Mekong River

Evening: Free time to explore the Luang Prabang Night Market

Overnight: Luang Prabang

 

Day 14: Luang Prabang (B/L)

Morning:

• Optional: Join the Alms Giving Ceremony at dawn

• Visit: Royal Palace Museum, Wat Xieng Thong, Wat Visoun

Afternoon:

• Drive to Khouang Si Waterfall

• Picnic lunch and swimming in turquoise pools

• Return to hotel

Overnight: Luang Prabang

 

Day 15: Luang Prabang (B/L)

Morning:

• Cruise up the Mekong River to Pak Ou Caves, filled with Buddha statues

• Visit Ban Xanghai (rice wine village) and Ban Xang Khong (paper & weaving village)

Afternoon:

• Return to Luang Prabang

• Free time at leisure

Overnight: Luang Prabang

 

Day 16: Luang Prabang – Siem Reap (B)

Free time until transfer to airport

Fly to Siem Reap

Meet guide and transfer to hotel

Overnight: Siem Reap

 

Day 17: Siem Reap (B/L/B)

Morning: Visit Angkor Thom: South Gate, Bayon Temple, Elephant Terrace

Afternoon:

• Explore Angkor Wat, the largest religious structure on earth

• Climb Bakheng Hill for sunset views over Angkor

Evening: Enjoy a traditional Apsara Dinner Show with classical Khmer dance

Overnight: Siem Reap

 

Day 18: Siem Reap (B/L)

Early Morning: Optional Sunrise at Angkor Wat

Daytime:

• Visit Banteay Srei, a pink sandstone temple with exquisite carvings

• Explore Ta Prohm (Tree Temple) and Ta Keo Temple

Overnight: Siem Reap

 

Day 19: Siem Reap-Departure (B)

Free time at leisure

Transfer to Siem Reap International Airport for departure flight

Optional routing: via Ho Chi Minh City or Bangkok

End of Services.
