VLC03 - ANGKOR EXPLORES

Day 1: Arrival – Siem Reap

• Morning: Arrive at Siem Reap Airport, meet your guide, and transfer to the hotel for check-in.

• Afternoon:

  • Visit Rolous Group, including Bakong Temple and Preah Ko Temple, known for their early Khmer architecture.

  • Enjoy free time for leisure and shopping during a city tour of Siem Reap.

• Overnight: Siem Reap

 

Day 2: Angkor Thom & Angkor Wat (B/L/_)

• Morning:

  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.

  • Visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the grand entrance to the ancient Khmer capital.

  • Explore Bayon Temple, famous for its massive stone-carved faces.

  • Walk along the Elephant Terrace, a striking two-and-a-half-meter-high wall adorned with bas-reliefs.

• Afternoon:

  • Visit Angkor Wat, Cambodia’s most iconic temple and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

  • Continue to Bakheng Temple, located atop Bakheng Hill, offering breathtaking sunset views of Angkor Wat surrounded by jungle.

• Overnight: Siem Reap

 

Day 3: Banteay Srei & Temple Exploration (B/L/_)

• Morning:

  • Visit Banteay Srei Temple, renowned for its intricate pink sandstone carvings.

  • Explore Kravan Temple, a well-preserved Hindu temple from the 10th century.

  • Discover Banteay Kdei Temple, a Buddhist monastery with a peaceful atmosphere.

  • Visit Sras Srang, an ancient royal bathing pool that provides a glimpse into Cambodia’s history.

• Afternoon:

  • Explore Ta Prohm Temple, famous for its mystical jungle setting with tree roots entwined in the ruins.

  • Visit Takeo Temple, a massive, unfinished temple mountain.

  • Continue to Pre Rup Temple, East Mebon Temple, Neak Pean Temple, and Preah Khan Temple, each showcasing different architectural styles of the Khmer Empire.

• Overnight: Siem Reap

 

Day 4: Cultural Village & Tonle Sap Lake (B/L/_)

• Morning:

  • Visit Cambodian Cultural Village, an interactive cultural park featuring 11 unique villages that represent Cambodia’s ethnic heritage.

  • Experience Apsara Dancing, traditional wedding ceremonies, peacock dance, acrobatics, and more.

• Afternoon:

  • Take a boat cruise on Tonle Sap Lake to visit the Floating Village, where you can observe the daily life of local fishermen.

• Overnight: Siem Reap

 

Day 5: Siem Reap – Departure (B)

• Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.

• Afternoon: Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.

• End of Services.
