VLC01 - ANGKOR DISCOVERY

Day 1: Arrival in Siem Reap

• Arrive at Siem Reap International Airport, where a local Cambodian guide will greet you with a warm welcome.

• Transfer to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

• Overnight: Siem Reap

 

Day 2: Siem Reap – Angkor Thom & Angkor Wat (B/L)

• Morning:

  • Visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom and explore Bayon Temple, known for its iconic smiling stone faces.

  • Continue to the Elephant Terrace, a significant royal platform of the Khmer Empire.

• Afternoon:

  • Explore the Angkor Wat, the national symbol of Cambodia and one of the world’s largest religious monuments.

  • Walk up to Bakheng Temple, located on Bakheng Hill, to enjoy a breathtaking sunset view over Angkor Wat.

• Overnight: Siem Reap

 

Day 3: Siem Reap – Banteay Srei & Ta Prohm (B/L)

• Morning:

  • Optional: Wake up early to witness the sunrise at Angkor Wat (weather permitting).

  • Return to the hotel for breakfast.

  • Visit Banteay Srei, famous for its intricate carvings and well-preserved structure.

• Afternoon:

  • Explore Ta Prohm Temple, where ancient trees intertwine with the ruins, creating a mystical setting.

  • Visit Takeo Temple, a five-tiered sandstone pyramid built by the Khmer Empire.

• Overnight: Siem Reap

 

Day 4: Siem Reap – Departure (B)

• Time to bid farewell to Cambodia! Meet your guide at the appointed time and head to the airport for your flight to next destination.
