Detailed Itinerary:

07:45–08:30 – Pickup from your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter. Begin the scenic drive south to Hoa Lu – Tam Coc, passing through peaceful rural landscapes and rice fields.

10:30 – Arrival in Ninh Binh Province.

  • Visit Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th century.

  • Explore the Dinh King Temple and Le King Temple, learning about their role in Vietnam’s resistance during the Chinese wars.

  • Afterward, travel 10 km to Tam Coc.

12:00 – Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon Activities:

  • Board a bamboo rowboat, steered by skilled local villagers.

  • Cruise along the Hoang Long River through Tam Coc, meaning “Three Caves” (Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba).
